Closing your account

If you'd like to close your Commonplace account, there are a few options available to you.

Full account closure

Full account closure will delete your account, but any contributions you have previously made will be permanently deleted and can no longer be included for evaluation by our engagement partners.

Changing your communication preferences

If you'd like to to keep your contributions intact but no longer want to receive communications from Commonplace, you can do this by visiting your profile page.

You can then use the toggle buttons to customise exactly which communications you do or do not receive.

If you'd still prefer to proceed with full account closure, please contact us at support@commonplace.is. Include the text below in your email to make it clear that you understand the ramifications of full account closure.

"Please close my Commonplace account for [insert your email address here], permanently deleting all my responses.

Please also unsubscribe me from all email communication. I understand that if I attempt to make a contribution in future, I will not receive the confirmation emails."
